Empowerment Activation Knowledge is power. Many people see trauma as the ultimate cause of their mental, physical, and spiritual health concerns. But what if a root cause of your unwellness was also disempowerment? Our Indigenous ancestors received constant energetic support from the earth and all living things. Unfortunately, we lost this continuous connection to life force energy and our true empowerment. During an Empowerment Activation you will gain knowledge of: o where you are disconnected from your life force, o energetic tools to progress your empowerment journey, o and health and wellness protocols to enliven your body. Like Reiki, you will be in a meditative, relaxed, and trance-like state. Unlike Reiki, you will be asked to be speak throughout the session as Sakina introduces you to meditation techniques and compassionate guides such as plants, animals, healed ancestors, and helping spirits. While you will experience periods of silence, you will also be asked questions about your emotions and past, similar to a therapy session. This process is best for those who have experience in their spiritual journey and are excited to work towards autonomy and self-mastery. While many may only need one session, others prefer to come once every 3 months. If you would like to work with Sakina consistently, consider booking sessions every 3-4 weeks so you have space to integrate and embody your experiences. If you are more advanced in your practice, it is possible to meet weekly. Trust what feels best for you. Please eat and hydrate well, wear comfortable clothing, and have a place where you can relax and be undisturbed when preparing for a virtual session. Afterward, plan for an evening of ease to integrate your experience into your body peacefully—as you are building a new way of being. Sakina A. Shakur is a teacher, artist, and strategist connecting us to nature and ourselves. She has practiced Indigenous energy healing for 7 years and studied ancient wisdom traditions for over a decade. She earned a Fulbright in philosophy and an MA from Yale’s Institute of Sacred Music. And has designed holistic solutions for mission driven organizations, the public sector, and Fortune 50 companies. Overall, she envisions a path to sustainable wellbeing for self and society.
